If you see this, you may be scrolling a bit too much.

Your body and mind are asking for a break from the information overload social media brings, and Gemini Season is the perfect time for a digital detox.

If you don’t want to (or can’t) go without your phone for more than 24 hours, I challenge you to limit your scrolling to 30 minutes a day. Take five minute social media sessions to see what’s going on throughout the day, but once you hit 30 minutes, close the apps for the rest of the evening and do something to stimulate (or even calm) your mind.

♊︎ start a jigsaw puzzle

♊︎ do today’s crossword

♊︎ go for a walk

♊︎ focus on your breathing and meditate

The health of your mind is just as important as the health of your body, and while social media can be great to connect, learn new things, and distract from stress, taking regular screen breaks and getting out from the digital noise helps relieve some baseline anxiety we’re accustomed to feeling.

Try to limit your scrolling this week and see what happens.
