Cancer Season

It's been about two months since my Grandma died, and I’ve finally cried about it.

‍

They were happy tears after coming to many realizations in one sitting. Life is a rather interesting experience and death is a reminder of how precious but little time we have in this realm.

‍

I’m currently in West Palm Beach celebrating the life of my Grandma with my family. Yesterday we put her ashes (and personal notes) into blue balloons (her favorite color) and released them over the Atlantic Ocean. My balloon interestingly got stuck in some bushes, so I released my note and the remainder of her into the ocean instead.

‍

It's interesting because my Grandma was a Pisces Sun, and fittingly the Moon was in Pisces as well… and Pisces represents the water element in Traditional Western Medicine/Medical Astrology; so it all just seems very synchronistic.

‍

Our time here is not permanent, we are only here for a moment, so why not make this moment as best as it can be… whatever “best” means to you.

‍

For me, it means laughter; being myself; being with my loved ones; music; admiring Mother Nature; singing; healing others; learning about life; swimming; reading; living.Death is a mysterious thing, but I pray it meets us all with contentment.☀️
