Leo Season

My mind likes to predict and make up arguments all the time, always on the defense, always preparing for war. Especially when it comes to relationships.

This is something I’ve done for as long as I can remember; growing up in a volatile household trained my mind to be on the lookout constantly.

‍

“You are never safe”, my mind screams subconsciously.

‍

I go to bed and dream of scenarios where I actually do have to defend myself, but I’m never prepared.

‍

The agony of my mind, fighting and flighting and freezing 24/7.

‍

Mercury (the planet) represents communication, thought, and the mind in Medical Astrology. Libra (the Zodiac constellation) represents relationships, love, and balance. The 8th House (the area of life/sky activated) represents transformation, hidden enemies, and anguish of the mind.

In my birth chart, as in the moment I was born, Mercury was in Libra in the 8th House.

‍

I’ve got a feeling my mind is a hidden enemy that becomes anguished in relationships due to the terrible communication and lack of love I grew up with; something that deeply needs to be transformed.

‍

Oh, what a task.

‍

But, I’m up for the challenge because this is getting ridiculous.

Mercury is currently Retrograde after-all…
