Because society right now is not well; collectively we are not well. I know so many people have this view of life like it’s shit, like it’s not worth it and people suck. Like, what is the use of going outside and trusting another human being when all you’re thinking about is how people suck and are evil and so many terrible things are going on in the world, and then when you do go outside you experience people sucking, which validates your thoughts; like yeah… this is why I don’t go out.

But, of course you would have that experience and perspective on life; of course you’d experience terrible things happening and examples of humans doing shitty ass things.
